The Hall at Christ Assembly Lutheran Church provides a peaceful and welcoming environment for bereavement gatherings and funeral repasts, where family and friends come together not only to mourn, but also to honor and celebrate the life of a loved one while finding strength in community.

Though no longer seen with our eyes, the lives of those we love continue to shine in memory, in spirit, and in the hearts they have touched. Within The Hall, families are given space to reflect, share stories, and celebrate a life that remains present through love and remembrance.

Located at 664 Broadway in Newark, New Jersey, The Hall offers a calm and respectful setting suitable for both small, intimate gatherings and larger memorial receptions. It is a place where loved ones can receive comfort, express gratitude for a life lived, and support one another in a compassionate and dignified atmosphere.

The facility includes tables and chairs, access to restroom facilities, optional kitchen use for food service and catering, and limited on-site parking. The Hall can be arranged to accommodate dining, quiet conversation, and moments of reflection, allowing families to focus on being together during a meaningful and sensitive time.
